It worked! Kinda...

Last night I gave my little scientific experiment a try. It was a success! Sort of...the problem I had was that after the gelmix thickened water cooled for 3 hours it was somewhat challenging to mix in the formula. As I gave it a hefty shake, the formula went flying into the nipple and around the lip, where it remained for several minutes until I was able to pry it out with a baby spoon. Once it was mixed in using some sort of stirring device the formula was great. Soggy nugget had no problems drinking it down with great zeal!

I've got three pictures as evidence, but being an amateur scientist, I forgot to take one of the formula wedged in the nipple tighter than a fat man in skinny jeans. The first is just plain water, the second is the thickened water (still piping hot), and the third is with the formula mixed in and ready to serve. Please bear in mind that I am also an amateur photographer :)

So, does that mean I have to stir it up on the plane or in the airport? Is there a cleaner way so I don't have to deal with a gloopy spoon in a confined space with a handsy 6 month old? I guess I will have to think on this one for a few days until I can come up with a solution.

Until then, stay soggy and proud!
